We begin with the finest Virginias and just enough Latakia to provide
the taste that so many crave then press it to marry the flavors.
We then tumble it out to a broken flake for easy packing and add just a
touch of chocolate to awaken the senses.
The end result is a blend that satisfies all day for a walk through the
Dales yet is welcome in the drawing room in the evenings
thanks to the warm chocolate aroma.
Eine Analogie zum G&H Bobs Flake Choc / SG Chocolate Flake liegt nahe,
und tatsächlich schmeckt der English Chocolate ähnlich,
so eine Art Mittelding zwischen dem süßeren Samuel Gawith und dem Gawith
und Hoggart.
Der Duft ist eher mehr in die süße Richtung, Vollmilch statt Zartbitter
- mit dem gleichen Latakiahintergrund.
Der English Chocolate kommt als broken Flake mit 2-3cm langen, etwas
dickeren Flocken als der Flake.
Der Tabak kann wie er ist in die Pfeife gestopft werden, oder natürlich
weiter aufgerubbelt.
Vom Abbrand her ist der English Chocolate eher gutmütiger als der
manchmal zickige Chocolate Flake.
Latakia, Virginia und Schokoladenaroma sind sehr gut kombiniert und
ausgewogen,
leicht süß cremig, mit pfeffrigen und kaum rauchigen Spitzen des Latakia .
Fazit:
Eine gute Alternative zu G&H Bobs Flake Choc/ SG Chocolate Flake
